Fox was called in to help the once failing Wayne Enterprises and brought a balance to both Bruce Wayne's private and business finances. Entrusted with the secret identities of Batman, Robin and Batgirl; he discovers a knack for invention and design that makes him a fit for the Applied Sciences division. He and Batman often banter about the equipment he designs and provides - quipping that Fox is the Q to Batman's James Bond 007.
