Fan Casting Ellen Yindel in Batman: Into the Millerverse

Ellen Yindel was a Police Captain and later Commissioner of the Gotham City Police Department following the retirement of her predecessor James Gordon. Unlike Gordon, Yindel despises vigilantes, especially the Batman, for whom she immediately issued an arrest warrant following Gordon's retirement. However, Yindel began to doubt herself when the Joker began his crime spree. Problems further arises for Yindel when Gotham fell into anarchy following the detonation of an electromagnetic pulse over the United States caused by a Soviet nuclear warhead, in which she and her police force were unable to reign order on the city until Batman and Robin led the Sons of Batman into non-violently quelling the riots and making Gotham much safer.
