Luego de los eventos de "Batman The Dark Knight" Batman es perseguido por la policía de Gotham por el asesinato de Harvey Dent, mientras Amanda Waller inicia una campaña de desprestigio hacia Superman, y forma la Fuerza Especial X para cazar a ambos héroes.
