Gotham’s local news anchor/historian who is also a close friend of Bruce Wayne. He is one of the few characters in the know about the Batfamily secret, choosing to keep it secret out of fondness for the Batfamily. He falls in love with Vicki Vale despite their workplace rivalry, and trusts her with the secret as well. He serves as comedic relief and an uncle figure to the Robins.
