Tanya worked directly under Amanda Waller, having been trained in multiple forms of combat, weapons and Gadgetry. After being kidnapped she is murdered by the Riddler, in a cruel twisted death riddle involving her whole family. This event leads her children to seek their own path to justice, some more deadlier than others. This would be the Riddlers version of The killing Joke. It would later be revealed that Amanda Waller had revived Tanya with a chip installed to her brain, also wiping her mind of her past life and family, now working under Waller full time with the Suicide Squad.
