Dr. Harleen Quinzel/Harley Quinn is the Joker's henchwoman, partner-in-crime, and on-and-off love interest. She was a former psychiatrist at Arkham Asylum who was assigned to the Clown Prince of Crime himself, before falling madly in love with him. In this incarnation, Harley Quinn will actually be an illegitimate daughter of the Joker born from a tryst with either Alicia Hunt (Grissom's moll) or another woman he bedded before then, who desires to kill Batman by wanting to avenge her father.
