After the Mighty Thor is killed in a battle with Malekith (now wielding the Necrosword), he uses his dying breath to enchant his hammer, Mjolnir. It is then discovered by young nurse-in-training Donald Blake, who picks it up, and becomes the new Thor, God of Thunder!
