Synopsis

From Disney Channel and It’s a Laugh Productions. 15 year old girl named Bailey accidentally gets cast in a new TV series called Rockin' at East View instead of her older sister Jenna during an audition. Despite not intending to audition, Bailey's singing talent is discovered by the casting agents and she is given the lead role in the show. However, her sister and parents accuse her of stealing the spotlight and Bailey is left feeling guilty and uncertain about her new opportunity. To help her navigate the challenges of being a young actress, Bailey moves to Hollywood, California to live with her aunt Ava, an actress and her mom's estranged sister who has a strained relationship with her mother. In Hollywood, Bailey meets her costars Jake, Lily, and Ethan, who are also her future classmates and support her in her new role.

Bailey & Jenna’s celebrity aunt. Ava’s relationship with her sister Bailey’s mom has been strained for years ever since they were kids, and has been the favorite of the family due to her participating in pageants, talent shows, and began her acting career at the age of 6, and being more of a mother figure to her niece Bailey. After Bailey got casted, and being accused by Jenna, and parents for stealing her spotlight Ava supportive of Bailey let Bailey live with her in Hollywood, California in her penthouse at the Hollywood Palace.
