Maria Suarez is a widow, thanks to the Friar himself, and is hell-bent on getting revenge on the Friar and the Order. After spotting Babylon trying to keep a low profile in a market in Gibraltar, and recognizing him from the American news, she introduces herself. She says the two can help each other out; she can get him to France, he can get her into the Royal Montegie, the two team up to go take down the Friar. Throughout the journey, she begins to fall for Babylon, and he does to, to the point that they are willing to give up their goal for the other.
