She was originally a general manager at a Senegalese restaurant when Mr. Okorie was alive but after her husband's death, she switched her job from restaurant general manager to accountant. She is very strict but caring towards her daughters because she grew up in a third world country with limited job opportunities and her desire to make sure that her daughters take advantage of an education and job opportunities.
