Synopsis

Avengers: Secret Wars is an upcoming superhero film, based on the Marvel Comics superhero team of the same name. The film is a sequel to The Avengers, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame and Avengers: Doomsday. It is the fortieth film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and the third and final installment of Phase Six and The Multiverse Saga. The film is set to be released on May 7, 2027.

Description of Loki, God of Stories (Loki Laufeyson):

Loki Laufeyson, former Prince of Asgard and Thor's adoptive brother, escaped from the Avengers through an alternate timeline but got arrested by the Time Variance Authority (TVA). There, he was recruited by Mobius M. Mobius to track down Sylvie, another Variant. He teamed up with Sylvie and together, they confronted He Who Remains, who warned them against his assassination. Despite Loki's doubts, Sylvie killed him, leading to a chaotic timeline. Loki began "Time Slipping," meeting past versions of himself and honing his powers. As the Temporal Loom collapsed, he chose to destroy it. Claiming his throne at the End of Time, Loki vowed to protect the newly woven Multiverse.
