As the entire Latverian army captures the five upon entry, Doctor Doom arrives personally and calls off the attack...to greet his daughter, Melissa Richards who's true name is revealed to be Melissande Von Doom. Years ago, Doom asked Reed and Susan to adopt his child to give her the life he could never provide and they accepted happily despite being enemies. Doctor Doom invites them all and entrusts V with the Soul Stone revealing that it is the only stone that can cure the madness of the other five. Afraid that the team won't accept her due to her heritage, Melissande is relieved when they tell her that heroic actions mean more than villainous blood.
