When the Avengers (consisting of Spidey, Prof. X, Banner, and the Defenders) needed a safe place to stay from the Mutants, Peter knows his soon-to-be step uncle Stan has a house enough for them. Stan treats each of them as if they were family. When the Dark X-Men attack the house, Stan gets injured!!! Later, Bruce selflessly gives some blood for Stan since he's the same blood type, but he needed someone else's blood of the same type to cancel out the harming effects of the gamma radiation in Bruce's cells. Peter volunteers, and both his and Bruce's blood is injected into Stan to save him. He'll be seen again after the Avengers save the world, with him using a wheelchair. But he'll be back on his feet soon.
