In the future, the X-Men, Avengers, and Fantastic Four have been hunted down to near extinction. The survivors made up of Logan, Peter, Bruce, Matt, Frank, Johnny Storm, Sue, Johnny Blaze, Ororo, Kitty, Bishop, Bobby, Xavier, James, Blink, Wanda, and Eric have teamed up to try to survive them. With no hope in sight, the group develops a last ditch plan, sending Logan back in time to get a younger Charles Xavier and Eric Lehnsherr, along with a younger Beast, Pietro, and Blade, to stop Mystique from killing the creator of the sentinels.
