Having regained his secret identity but failing to clear his name in No Way Home, Spidey is distrusted by the public and become the poster child for why the Avengers should be outlawed. Peter is greatly offended by Norman Osborn's being deemed the next Tony Stark and his use of the Iron Patriot title.
