Synopsis
Avengers: Infinity War is a 2018 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics superhero team the Avengers. Produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Pictures, it is the sequel to The Avengers (2012) and Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015), and the 19th film in the MCU. In Avengers Civil War, disagreement over international oversight of the Avengers and the Defenders fractures the team into two opposing factions—one led by Steve Rogers and the other by Tony Stark.
Avengers: Civil War released in the United States on April 27, 2018, as part of Phase Three of the MCU. The film received praise for Ford's performance, visual effects, action sequences, and emotional weight.
