Aubrey Hauntley is a teenage vampire slayer princess who lives with her parents and two brothers in a vampire-like Transiland. She wants to live in a human city, but her overprotective father stops her from doing so, as humans and vampires are enemies. She doesn't mind, however, and befriends two human teenagers, Tina Granger and Nata Peters, who continue to protect her. However, the local bully, Hank, and the snobbish cheerleader, Anastacia, don't realize that she is a vampire in human disguise, and Aubrey and her friends must keep her vampire form hidden. But Aubrey faces her enemies.
