Synopsis

In 1431, a new protagonist was introduced named Borey Long, a peasant turned Assassin during the Angkor period at the end of Ponhea Yat's reign as the last king of the Khmer Empire and the first Khmer king of the post-Angkor period which liberated Cambodia from Templar control. In Phnom Penh, the king ordered the land to be built up to protect it from flooding, and a palace to be built especially the Assassin Council to avoid the future threat of the Templar Order. During the reign of Borom Reachea II, he also ordered the construction of six Buddhist monasteries around the city, and his remains are housed in a stupa behind the Wat Phnom aided by the Khmer Brotherhood of Assassins in Phnom Penh.
