After the death of his father, Arthur Curry is raised in the hidden underwater city of Atlantis. He learns he is the bastard son of Queen Atlanna which causes distress in Atlantis. When Arthur starts above-water rescues, his half-brother Orm learns of this and reveals to Atlantis that Arthur is half-human which leads to an all-out war in Atlantis, and Orm leading an assault on mankind.
