The film was directed by Edgar Wright from a screenplay by the writing teams of Wright & Joe Cornish and Adam McKay. It stars Patrick Wilson as Hank Pym / Ant-Man alongside Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Corey Stoll, Bobby Cannavale, Patton Oswalt, Penélope Cruz, Wood Harris and Michael Douglas. In the film, Hank Pym discovers a formula that allows to shrink to the size of an Ant.
