And he is portrayed as a absolute loser who is trying to be badass by bragging that the suit of armor and sword was forged by the best magicians just for for him even if it’s implausible, bragging about knowing a thousand martial arts just like Batman. but when he’s faced with an actual superpowered or gadget empowered threat instead of regular guys with normal weapons, his sword fails, his armor is not very durable when enough pressure is applied and it absorbs shock impact enough to cause pain and stun him, the sheer impracticality of his armor means he cannot easily fight with the martial arts he brags about, and he is easily beaten. Essentially he’s the human equivalent of a glass cannon. turns out to not be that durable. the armor has enchantments to heal broken bones, only for his bones to keep breaking and being healed afterwards. And when fights result in open exposed chunks of his armor, the enchantment stops affecting the areas exposed meaning bones he breaks in those spots stay broken on top of bullets and swords hitting those spots. Also people on the team calls him Don Quixote and he appreciates it, completely unaware of the irony of being compared to Don Quixote.
