Synopsis

What would you do if your older sister told you to pack up; you were moving to another state? Nonetheless WITHOUT your mom, the only person who ever really understood you? Well, that's what happened to Elsa Prior. Mack is always tired from work and annoyed, Eddie won't tell her anything, and Mack's boss that she hates is weirdly interested in their family. Elsa is determined to get to the bottom of what her siblings aren't telling her, as well as find out why her mom isn't answering any texts. But this will require the family to deal with past traumas, repair old relationships and build new ones, and finally be honest with themselves.

Description of Rowan Marie Prior-Eastman (Mom, Stepmom):

Rowan is a sweetheart with horrible taste in men. She was abused by her first husband, who died, and then by Alec, her second husband-whenever he was actually at home. She tried to be a mom to the Eastman siblings without making their dad angry, and kept Elsa away from it until she couldn't anymore. Then she begged Mack to take care of Elsa and get her out of there. Mack loves Rowan more than her own mom.
