Synopsis

It’s a story about a tight-knit group of highly academic friends (who happen to be monks who worship maths and science) in a post-post apocalyptic world, being tossed out into the wider, wilder society on a quest to make contact with dimension-hopping aliens. What more could you ask for?

Description of Quin:

An artisan from extramuros who visits the Concent of Saunt Edhar to perform some maintenance, just before Apert. Quin is more amenable to questioning by Fraa Orolo, and so took the place of Flec, who had begun the maintenance work earlier. It is from Quin that Fraa Orolo learns of a particularly high resolution speelycaptor that Orolo sees as potentially useful for cosmography. Artisan Quin is the father of Fraa Tavener a.k.a. Barb.
