The sixth installment of the Jaws series, as well as the second film in a planned Amity Island trilogy. The film takes place exactly after the events of the first Amity Island film. Newly appointed Chief of Police, Johnathan Lawson, has died from shark attack injuries. After the original plan fails to be successful, the Brody brothers are forced to take upon the sea to kill the great-white man killer. Mother of local Teenager, and shark biologist, Laura Crow, agrees to help the brothers. Laura calls on her former professor, and "Jaws" original, Matt Hooper. The team rents an aquatic technology-equipped boat, and takes off to battle the shark.
