Princess Beatrice is the heir apparent to America. At the beginning of the book, her parents decide she has to pick somebody to marry at the Queen’s Ball. She has a folder of options. Some of the options were Lord Marshall Davis, Lord Andrew Russell, Lord Koda Onega, and Lord Chaska Waneta. She thought they all had too many options for themselves. The only one she liked at all was Lord Theodore Eaton or Teddy. She chose him and invited him to go see a musical. After this, she has a conversation with her Revere Guard and best friend, Connor.
