Synopsis

Half the population of a small town disappears overnight, the eschatological appearance of an abnormally smiling man and inexplicable facts plague the place. It is in this scenario that a group of investigators will have to take risks to find the missing persons.

Description of Tilda Blair:

A brilliant historian, responsible for discovering thousands of lost works about the medieval period. She has an advanced knowledge of what The Chewing Man is and its history, but once a disease progresses in her brain, she is unable to move or speak in complete sentences. It will be up to her husband and the Cricket Marlowe Paranormal Association to wake her from her catatonic state.
