Synopsis

Half the population of a small town disappears overnight, the eschatological appearance of an abnormally smiling man and inexplicable facts plague the place. It is in this scenario that a group of investigators will have to take risks to find the missing persons.

Description of Sheriff Adam Lewis:

A pathetic and prejudiced individual. Adam is paranoid and believes the whole Chewing Man issue is the fault of the town's minorities. He is severely against the city's mayor's policy and applies the law according to his distorted interpretation. With the disappearance of part of the city, he will use chaos as an excuse to become a kind of vigilante according to his dubious morals.
