On September 6, 1963 the American television series, Doctor Who, debuted. While it at first received mixed reviews, it slowly became one of the most watched shows on television. Thanks to the incredible producers and writers, as well as the amazing wit and performance of Ray Walston as The Doctor, it cemented its place in pop culture.
