After the events of the three part special, Rockwell bi-regenerates into the Fifteenth Doctor, played by Justice Smith, who was seemingly supposed to be the Fourteenth Doctor, until it was revealed Rockwell was coming back. Smith would then be playing the incarnation after Rockwell, as The Fifteenth Doctor while Rockwell was kept around if Smith's version was a failure.read more
