Description of Fourth Doctor:
First Appearance: Planet of the Spiders. Gene Wilder's Fourth Doctor became the longest running Doctor, with a total of 7 years. He was known as the most popular incarnation in Classic Doctor Who, and is most recognisable for his distinct, bohemian dress-sense, featuring his iconic long scarf. He would come to regenerate after falling off a satellite dish during a battle with the Master.
