Description of First Doctor:
First Appearance: An Unearthly Child. The First Doctor is the reputed 'original' incarnation of the Timelord. He, and his granddaughter, Susan, fled Gallifrey after stealing a Type-40 TARDIS. They landed in a scrapyard in New York, where the TARDIS's Chameleon Circuit broke, forcing it to remain in the form of a 20th Century Telephone Box. The First Doctor eventually met his maker to the Cybermen on Mondas, being forced to regenerate in Antarctica in 1986.
