The Chipmunks and Chipettes have been living dual lives as singing popstars and as teenagers in high school. Dave and his new wife order the Chipmunks to put their music lives aside to prepare for finals and graduation and Alvin, being the obnoxious troublemaker he is, couldn't take it. One day, he gets approached by a person who offers him a solo career and he accepts. Unfortunately, he learns the hard way that Brittany was given the a solo career by the SAME PERSON!
