When their tree is cut down and sent to Los Angeles, talking squirrels Alvin (Tom Holland), Simon (Charlie Heaton) and Theodore (Walker Scobell) find a new home in the home of composer Dave Seville (Paul Rudd). Despite a troubled start to their new domestic situation, Dave discovers that the mischievous creatures can sing very well.
