adamatc You forgot that Sean Connery was 1st choice for Morpheus , he refused it because " he didn't understand the script" .. That and Lord of The rings decisions made him question his stay as a actor.

- moviebuff1251 @adamatc added it just for fun, but I believe that was debunked and he was actually offered the role of The Architect in the sequels. I don't really think they were looking for an almost 70-year-old for such a physical role

- adamatc @moviebuff1251 let's not forget that entrapment was filmed at (almost) the same time , and he did launch an unsuccesful action saga years later (League of Extraordinary Gentlemen).
