A young girl called Alma gets trapped inside a doll for 25 years, until a single father Jake Martin buys her as a birthday present to his daughter Emily. Emily ends up loving the gift and she senses the doll is trying to talk to her. At night, she sees a shooting star and wishes she could come to life. The next morning the wish comes true and Alma is alive and can talk again. After wanting to turn into a human, they take her to Zoltar and wish for her to be human again.
