Synopsis

Set years before the misadventures of the three Baudelaire orphans, young Lemony Snicket visits the town of Stain’d-by-the-Sea where he selects an incompetent wild-haired woman S. Theodora Markson as his chaperone who ranks 52/52. He meets other individuals along the way: the wannabe journalist Moxie Mallahan, the troublesome Stew Mitchum, the mysterious Ellington Feint, and the evil Hangfire. From producer Tim Burton, director of Beetlejuice and Edward Scissorhands, features a stellar cast starring the voices of Jack Dylan Grazer, Zoe Saldaña, Jenna Ortega, Jeffery Wright, Yvette Nicole Brown, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Alan Cumming.
