On the planet Aquitar, water is the fuel that gives life. It's residents train in the martial arts, waiting for the one threat that can take away their resources and freedom. That threat comes in the form of the Hydro Hog, who wishes to render all the planets in the universe dry wastelands. In the chaos, five warriors are chosen to become the Alien Rangers in order to protect the planet from Hydro Hog and his minions.
