Fan Casting General Dru-Zod in Absolute Superman (2025 - 2032)

TBA in the series. (via Which-Presentation-6 on reddit): I would make Zod an ancient Kryptonian revolutionary who tried to destroy the ruling class but was defeated. Throughout this process, he sacrificed everything: integrity, friends, even himself. Zod was taken to prison where he was tortured and reduced to an old shell, but during the destruction of Krypton miraculously managed to escape. Kal encounters him on Earth and the two become allies because they are the only other Kryptonians. Seeing Kal would restore Zod's hope and over time he would begin to appreciate the intrinsic willpower of humankind.
