This version of 101 Dalmatians is a combo of the 1961 movie and the 1996 remake. In this version, Roger is a songwriter like the 1961 movie and Anita is a fashion designer like in the 1996 remake. The dogs do speak in this version, like the 1961 version and unlike the 1996 remake. Cruella is more of a serial killer than a dognapper, with the same energy as Glenn Close, but darker and creepier. I think A24 should do a new remake of 101 Dalmatians instead of Disney because they are doing Cruella, and A24 can make anything weird and creative. Coming soon on March 20, 2026read more
