Dream demon Freddy Krueger is resurrected from his apparent demise, and rapidly tracks down and kills Ricky. However, Ricky, who can draw others into his dreams, wills his special ability to his friend Kyle. Kyle soon realizes that Freddy is taking advantage of that unknown power to pull a new group of children into his foul domain and it's up to him, Jon, and their friends to stop him.
