Synopsis

Against the backdrop of Ancient Greece, four lovers find themselves caught up in an incredible series of fluctuating attractions and disastrous misunderstandings as the fairy King Oberon wages war on his independent wife Titania. Meanwhile, six simple-minded workingmen set their hearts on performing a devastating tragedy for the Duke and Duchess' wedding; however, it is not long before they, too, become pawns in the hilarious antics of the fairies.

Description of Titania:

Fairy Queen Titania may be lovely and mystical, but her temper and stubbornness are matched only by her husband's. She refuses to give up the Indian child that a dear friend entrusted to her on her deathbed, no matter what Oberon says. Her devious husband, however, has a variety of tricks up his sleeve, and when an ornery Puck gets involved, things are bound to get wild! Before she knows it, she awakes to find an odious human-donkey mutant singing by her bower, and falls head-over-heels in love with it.
