Synopsis

Against the backdrop of Ancient Greece, four lovers find themselves caught up in an incredible series of fluctuating attractions and disastrous misunderstandings as the fairy King Oberon wages war on his independent wife Titania. Meanwhile, six simple-minded workingmen set their hearts on performing a devastating tragedy for the Duke and Duchess' wedding; however, it is not long before they, too, become pawns in the hilarious antics of the fairies.

Description of Helena:

Helena was perfectly happy when she had Demetrius, and her heart breaks as she watches the man of her dreams slip out of her grasp, wooing a woman who will never love him. When Hermia and Lysander reveal their plans of elopement to her, Helena sees the perfect opportunity to win Demetrius' favor by sharing the secret. Her desperate plan majorly backfires, however, causing her crush to angrily hunt down the fugitive couple. Miserably following him, she comes across a sleeping Lysander...who immediately professes his undying love for her! When Demetrius joins in and Hermia shows up demanding an explanation, Helena becomes convinced that the trio are playing some kind of cruel joke on her.
