Synopsis

Against the backdrop of Ancient Greece, four lovers find themselves caught up in an incredible series of fluctuating attractions and disastrous misunderstandings as the fairy King Oberon wages war on his independent wife Titania. Meanwhile, six simple-minded workingmen set their hearts on performing a devastating tragedy for the Duke and Duchess' wedding; however, it is not long before they, too, become pawns in the hilarious antics of the fairies.

Description of Demetrius:

Demetrius is a man of noble birth who is set on marrying the lovely Helena...until he sees Hermia. Problem is, she already has a boyfriend named Lysander. Although Hermia's father backs Demetrius up all the way, he will always be the outsider of the love triangle. When his old flame, Helena, reveals that the couple has run off to marry in secret, Demetrius wrathfully pursues them. Things don't go his way at all, though, especially when the fairy king Oberon magically causes him to fall back in love with Helena. Worst of all, Lysander has inexplicably set his eye on Helena as well, renewing the love triangle all over again!
