Synopsis

Four years have passed since Springwood witnessed the last traces of Freddy Krueger. Louise, Kevin, Chloe and William, as well as all their other residents, feel for the first time that all that may be in the past once again. But at this level, this peaceful town could take no other stance than accepting its existence in its children's nightmares - and for some, going beyond that. When the boundary between dreams and reality is tested, and just when they thought they would be safe going to sleep, our group of heroes will once again have to come together to haunt Freddy's plans - but this time, once and for all.

Description of Sister Mary Helena (Amanda Krueger):

- ...Even without thinking about it, we can all end up creating monsters, young lady. Deep down, Springwood remains a tormented town, from the time he was born, until the day he became a nightmare for everyone he met. [Louise] - ...I don't want to be just another chapter of this. - I notice that. And there is a way. Because for every devil, there is a cross. A mysterious nun who contacts Louise to give her hope, telling her a tragic story about Freddy's origins - the result of a gang rape that took place in a former hospital in the city. Eventually, her identity is revealed to be none other than Krueger's mother - a tormented soul who still hopes for rest with her son's ending.
