Emily McCormick, a young woman, thought losing her job at the diner was the end of the world, until her boyfriend, Greg leaves her for a woman he met online. Feeling bad with nothing real in her life, Emily decides to head home to Denver, Colorado where she is reunited with her parents, her uncle, her cousins, her grandfather and her siblings as well as an old flame, Nick Stevens, a young single father, who secretly still has the hots for Emily.
