Will Owens is the father of Jamie, Nolan, and Avery. He's confined to a wheelchair due to his multiple sclerosis, and is unable to get out of the house much, but hates having to rely on his older daughter to take care of him--constantly stating that he wishes he was healthy enough to get a job and support the family. He and his wife got married after a one-night stand left her pregnant with Jamie, and the two had a continuously rocky marriage that ended after she decided she no longer wanted to be tied down with a family. Despite this, Will harbors no ill feelings towards his ex or any of his children, and is a good-natured man overall. His only frustrations lie with being sick all the time.
