Steve Trevor crashlands on a mystery island where Princess Diana plans to take Steve home against her mothers will. Because Diana believes the God of War is involved with the rise of metahuman activity.
Diana secretly takes part of the tournament to choose who can take Steve home, the winner wouldn't be able to return.
Diana wins and takes Steve back to the US and joins his unit named Team 7 lead by Amanda Waller to hunt down metahumans.
