Synopsis

Twenty-five years after season 4, Clay Jensen became struck with brain cancer. As his family helps Clay recover, Clay's children delve into their father's teenage past and learn how their names meant so much to him while informing Clay's long-ago disbanded high school friends.

Description of Jessica Torres (nee Davis) (Middle Aged Self):

After graduating from Liberty, Jessica attended UC Berkeley. There she eventually became an advocate and political backing for Katie Hui, who was sexually assaulted by a man named Nicholas Zhao. Determined to fight for justice, Jessica urged Katie to file a petition for his expulsion from Berkeley. She became a top-ranked sexual assault lawyer for women in California. She kept in touch with Alex and still hasn't completely gotten over Justin's death. She's married to Diego, her former high school boyfriend, and has a high school football playing senior son named Alexander Torres.
