Synopsis

Twenty-five years after season 4, Clay Jensen became struck with brain cancer. As his family helps Clay recover, Clay's children delve into their father's teenage past and learn how their names meant so much to him while informing Clay's long-ago disbanded high school friends.

Description of Charlie St. George (Middle Aged Self):

After playing for Liberty, he graduated and went on to play for Baylor University as a quarterback. He got recruited to play for the Cowboys and was a 3 round pick in the NFL Draft. Later, he married Alex and his status as an open bisexual athlete inspired members from the LGBTQ community to take up sports, representing himself as a symbol of acceptance for non-straight sexuality in the sports industry.
