Yes, i know many Japanese actors/actresses are underrated, but some were popular enough to gain recognition worldwide. While there are also some underrated ones that only does stage plays/musicals and small doramas along with Toku shows and movies. I sometimes cast underrated actors/actresses for my stories, they need to be known more and too many popular celebs is no good imo, so gotta keep it balanced.
